  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over in the northern parts of the Northern Cape, north western parts of the North West as well as the western Bushveld of Limpopo.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but cold in places along the escarpment.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning drizzle and fog patches along the eastern Highveld and escarpment areas, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east in the morning where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm but windy in the east. It will become partly cloudy in the west from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the west from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly becoming northwesterly by the afternoon along the western coastline.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over interior, otherwise fine and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong easterly from the west late morning.

The Eastern half Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over interior, otherwise fine and cool.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north[westerly, becoming moderate to fresh easterly from the west late morning.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches in places over the interior, otherwise cloudy with isolated showers along the north coast and adjacent interior, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate southerly to south-westerly, becoming easterly to north-easterly in the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
