- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the southern parts of Free State, as well as the extreme northern parts of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Early morning fog patches on the eastern Highveld, otherwise fine and warm but hot in the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in places in the morning with early morning mist over the central parts, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places in the Western Bushveld and Limpopo Valley.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers over the north-eastern parts by the afternoon.
Free State:
Temperature: Morning fog patches in the east where it will be warm, otherwise fine and hot, but partly cloudy over the northern and eastern parts.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy along the coast at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot in the east becoming partly cloudy in the north-east in the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to southwesterly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool to warm with light rain over the south-western parts and the south coastal areas in the morning, clearing
from the west by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly, becoming southerly in the west from the late afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy in places along the northern and central interior in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh north easterly becoming fresh to strong easterly in the afternoon, but light south easterly west of Storms River.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light north westerly early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north easterly reaching strong in the south in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but cool in places in the south and west.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly, but near gale to gale north of Richards Bay until midday.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
