Super Rugby fixtures 2020: Predictions and kick off times – Round 5

Predictions, results and fixtures for Round 5 of Super Rugby 2020 follows below this preview.

The Super Rugby table begins to take shape as we enter round five of the 2020 season. The Stormers are the only team with a perfect record so far and will fancy their chances of maintaining that record.

John Dobson’s men will host the Blues at Newlands on Saturday at 15:05 SAST. This is, of course, a Blues side buoyed by an away victory over the Bulls in their last game.

The Bulls will look to claim their first win of the season at home to the Jaguares at 17:15 on Saturday.

The Sharks seek to build on what has been a successful tour of Australasia to date as they visit the Reds at the Suncorp Stadium at 10:15.

The Lions, back from a bye, will be the only South African team in action on Friday as they visit the embattled Waratahs at 10:15.

First, the Highlanders will kick off the weekend at 08:05 at home to the Rebels on that same day.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s early fixture will see the Hurricanes host the Sunwolves at 05:45 as they look to blow the Japanese side out the water.
