EFF leadership wants Grootes booted over slip up
The award for the day’s most unfortunate slip-of-the-tongue goes to Stephen Grootes: The Newzroom Afrika anchor had an on-air nightmare on Tuesday, after he accidentally claimed Julius Malema ‘was on trial for murder’.
The EFF leadership has reacted angrily to this mistake, and they now want the veteran broadcaster booted from his job.
