  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected in places over the Khai-Ma Municipality in the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east with morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers except in the Lowveld where it will be hot.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and hot with isolated afternoon thundershowers in extreme northeast.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy over the eastern parts. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected in the north-east.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning over the west with fog along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm to hot. It will be very hot in places over the eastern parts.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with morning light rain in the south-west and south but fine and hot in the north-east.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly along the south in the early morning otherwise south-westerly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and hot, but warm along the coast.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, but fresh during the afternoon.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Partly cloudy and warm, but cloudy south of the escarpment with fog patches in the morning, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and rain from afternoon.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, but fresh during the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but very hot over the north-eastern part. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly from the south.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
