Chocolate & Marie Biscuit Fudge – Sweet and chocolatey

Chocolate is the world’s favourite dessert and we’ve added another South African staple to the party, Marie Biscuits. Our Chocolate & Marie Biscuit Fudge is sweet, soft and absolutely delicious. They are very easy to make and this recipe serves eight, but you can easily adjusted for more.

Fudge is sweet and soft enough to easily take your favourite bite. You’re going to need to stop yourself from eating them all on your own. They are a great addition to a snack or dessert table anywhere you go. Our Chocolate & Marie Biscuit Fudge only take thirty minutes to make and great to do with the kids to help you mix if you have them. If you want to, wrap them up in a nice tin or pack and give them as a gift. They are also great at any bake sale.

Chocolate & Marie Biscuit Fudge Recipe

    These sweet treats are quick and easy and so delicious!

    Ingredients

    • 1 packet Marie bisucits (broken not crushed)

    • 175 g butter

    • 2 cups icing sugar

    • 2 tbsp cocoa

    • 5 ml vanilla essence

    • 1 large egg

    Method

    • Mix the egg and the vanilla essence in a bowl.
    • On a low heat, melt the butter in a pot.
    • Add the icing sugar and cocoa. Turn off the heat. Add the egg mixture.
    • Gently add the broken biscuits.
    • Pour into a greased dish.
    • Allow to cool and cut into pieces.
