Kaizer Chiefs starting XI prediction: DStv Premiership vs Marumo Gallants
Kaizer Chiefs seek to bounce back from a chastening defeat to Royal Am last time out when they take on Marumo Gallants on Sunday 26 September.
Here is how Kaizer Chiefs might line up for their crucial encounter with Gallants on Sunday.
Kaizer Chiefs Starting XI
The merry-go-round in the Kaizer Chiefs’ goal hasn’t helped their cause this season but after letting in four its hard to imagine Brandon Petersen getting another game immediately afterwards. As such we expect to see a return for Bafana Bafana stopper Bruce Bvuma.
In defence there should be changes as well after Stuart Baxter handed a Kaizer Chiefs debut to Njabulo Ngcobo only to see him flounder. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Thabani Dube return to right back.

Despite the drubbing last time out we are likely to see Daniel Cardoso and Erick Mathoho continue as the centre back pairing for Kaizer Chiefs.
At left back, Sifiso Hlanti’s consolation goal probably does enough to keep him in the starting lineup as his chief rival Sibusiso Mabaliso wound up putting through his own net when he came on as a sub.
Phathutshedzo Nange is a doubtful starter after he was stretchered off last time out which means that Cole Alexander and Njabulo Blom should be tasked with holding things down in midfield.
The injury to Nange might also hasten the full return of Lebogang Manyama, who has shown great energy and willingness off the bench.
Khama Billiat, Samir Nurkovic and Keagan Dolly may be misfiring at the moment but that front three are likely to start against Marumo Gallants.
Edit: Samir Nurkovic has been ruled out of the match as he is to undergo surgery. Nkosingiphile Ngcobo could slot into the starting XI with Billiat likely to take up the central striker role.

Kaizer Chiefs starting XI prediction: Bruce Bvuma, Sifiso Hlanti, Erick Mathoho, Daniel Cardoso, Thabani Dube, Cole Alexander, Njabulo Blom, Lebogang Manyama, Khama Billiat, Keagan Dolly, Samir Nurkovic.
