HAIR-rific! Drake reveals COVID-19 wreaked havoc on his hairline!
Drake has admitted to suffering a hair-rific side effect after contracting COVID-19. What do you ask? Apparently he took a real hammering to his hairline…
The Toosie Slide hitmaker made the embarrassing confession on social media after responding to fans who mocked his recent look.
In images posted on an Instagram fan account, Drake is pictured showing off a heart etched into his hairline, a look he showed late last year. The next slide was a more recent pic, showing the Canadian star’s not-so-fresh fade.
“That heart is stressed”, read the caption on the post.
DRAKE: ‘DON’T DISS’
Drake caught wind of the IG post and decided to comment, explaining how the look on the usually dapper rapper came to be.
“I had Covid that s*** grew in weird I had to start again… it’s coming back don’t diss,” he wrote in the comment section.
Unfortunately for Drake, only a handful of fans responded with kind words. The rest demanded to know when his long-awaited album Certified Lover Boy would be released.
“The world needs Drake to drop the album immediately” tweeted one fan.
Another hit him with a low blow; “Drake in the studio just eating at this point”.
Drake originally planned to drop his sixth studio album in January 2021 but had to postpone the release following surgery on his knee.
He wrote on his Instagram Stories at the time; “I was planning to release my album this month, but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery”.
“I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
KELLY KHUMALO ALSO EXPERIENCES BIZARRE COVID-19 SIDE EFFECT
And it’s not just the Grammy-award winning star who has revealed a bizarre side effect.
In addition to Drake, local singer Kelly Khumalo confessed to experiencing ‘numbness’ in her lady-parts after she received the COVID-19 vaccine earlier this month.
The condition was temporary though, and the singer has now encouraged fans to go get jabbed.
“I just want to say to you, ‘Please go get your vaccine’. Me, everything is operating well.
“Everything is operating. We are open for business, everything back to normal”.
