Who is Thuli Phongolo dating? Five of her rumoured bae’s [photos]
While musician Master KG has denied dating actress Thuli Phongolo via a tweet, on 16 August, he is not the first to be caught up in her romance speculation.
Here is a look at five of Thuli Phongolo’s rumoured bae’s and what led to the romance speculation, from Master KG to DJ Black Coffee.
1. MASTER KG
The Jerusalema hitmaker is not the first and is likely not to be last to be caught up in the “Twitter Police’s” romance speculation surrounding Thuli Phongolo. However, he is the current. The romance speculation between Master KG and the Generations: The Legacy star began when Phongolo replied to Master KG’s tweet on dating older woman.

This led to the “Twitter Police” assuming the pair were together. However, Phongolo took to Twitter to deny the rumours. In her response, she said “please respect me”, which did not sit right with Tweeps who thought she was disrespecting Master KG.
However, Master KG came to Phongolo’s defence saying that he doesn’t think she was undermining him as they respect each other “for sure”. He also added that they aren’t dating.

2. DUDUZANE ZUMA
Former president Jacob Zuma’s son, Duduzane Zuma has also been in the mix of Phongolo’s rumoured bae’s. The rumours seem to have started on the Instagram page, the Popcorn Room, where they matched a cropped picture of Thuli to Duduzane Zuma when they were both in Dubai in October 2020.
They have both denied the rumours saying they’ve never met.

3. BONGANI MURDAH
DJ Zinhle’s bae!? Yes. Phongolo was previously linked to Black Motion’s Murdah Bongz after they were both on a safari getaway at the same time. The pair both posted images of the same condo which fueled the baecation rumours even further.
However, neither of the two have confirmed nor denied the rumours. Murdah Bongz is now dating the mother of rapper AKA’s child, DJ Zinhle.
4. BLACK COFFEE
Back in 2018, Phongolo was rumoured to be dating DJ Black Coffee, it is unclear what sparked the rumours but it seemed to have something to do with the music festival, Coachella.
This was while Black Coffee was married to actress Enhle Mbali so these were serious accusations. Neither of the two cleared the air on the rumours at the time.
5. RAPHAEL GRIFFITHS
Off all the rumours, it seems Phongolo actually dated Raphael Griffiths but the pair parted ways in 2015.
It seems we won’t know who the actresses bae is for sure until she makes an official announcement which seems to be unlikely as she prefers to keep her dating woes private.
