  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the over Matzikama and Kamiesberg Municipalities in the Northern Cape

Gauteng:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the high lying areas, otherwise fine and cold.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Morning fog patches on the Highveld, otherwise fine and cold but partly cloudy in the east. It will be cool in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine and cool but partly cloudy to cloudy in the northern and eastern parts. It will be cold in places over the central parts.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cold, but warm in the west.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and cold.

Northern Cape:

East temperature: Frosty areas at first, otherwise fine and cool but cold over the southern interior. Light to moderate sandstorm is likely along the
northern coastal areas in the morning

Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly becoming moderate easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm with high level clouds.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Fine and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-westerly.

The Eastern half Temperature: Fine and cool.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north-east with morning isolated showers in the extreme north-east and fog over the interior, otherwise fine and cool but cold in places in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be gentle north-westerly at first, otherwise moderate north-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
