The little body of a missing 3-year-old was found inside a vehicle on Friday
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 3-year-old boy who was reported missing earlier this month.
THE LITTLE BODY WAS FOUND IN A CAR
The little boy, Khothatso Paul Rampa, was found dead in a car on Friday. The car was on the premises of a vehicle repair shop in Assen.
The boy lived in the Msholozi informal settlement near Greens shopping complex on the R511 Thabazimbi Road before he went missing.
Khothatso was last seen on Friday, 9 July 2021, at about 14:00, by his grandmother when he went to play.
He never returned home.
At the time of his disappearance, Khothatso was wearing a yellow tracksuit top, blue tracksuit trousers, and white sneakers.
Police earlier said he is skinny build and has short hair with a dark skin complexion.

Meanwhile, the body of another missing four-year-old boy was found last week in a sewer of a house in Plessislaer in Pietermaritzburg where he was last seen playing.

Colonel Thembeka Mbele, police spokesperson, said four-year-old Mlando Zuma’s body was found in a sewer on Sunday, 27 June 2021.
“He went missing on 18 June 2021 while playing at Dambuza, wearing khaki short pants and a blue T-shirt with a hat.”
Mbele said the boy’s body was found in the sewer of a house in Plessislaer in Pietermaritzburg where he was last seen playing.
“The community gathered outside the house where the child was found and set the house alight.
Mbele said an inquest docket was opened at Plessislaer SAPS for investigation.

It has been tragic two weeks after the bodies of two other missing children were also found.
A kidnapped kidnapped 8-year-old Bokamoso Shabe, who was abducted from her school last month ended tragically when her little body was found in a field on Thursday, 24 June 2021.
The body of Bokamoso Shabe was found wrapped up with duvet cover in an open field. She was still wearing her school uniform.

Meanwhile, police were still investigating the death of a missing six-year-old boy who was found dead in the Jukskei River.
The boy, Kwanda Dladla was reported missing on 9 June 2021. He went missing on Wednesday the 9th of June and was reported as missing at the Alexandra Police Station. His little boy was found a week after his disappearance in the Jukskei River.
