Former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates stars are on trial at PSL side!

A former Orlando Pirates star, as well as a former Kaizer Chiefs star have surfaced at Swallows FC as they look to get their careers back on track.

Former Orlando Pirates winger Mark Mayambela and former Kaizer Chiefs winger George Lebese are looking to make a sensational return to the PSL and are currently on trial at Swallows FC.

The duo aged 33 and 32 respectively are both looking to resurrect their playing careers however they’ll have to impress Brandon Truter and co at Swallows before being offered contracts at the club.

“George Lebese has not played football for a long time but you can see the quality is there. We cannot say much for now,” Brandon Truter told Kick-Off regarding the former Kaizer Chiefs star.

“We want to give chance to work on his fitness and try to bring him into good shape. He is a quality player, you can’t doubt it. He has shown his quality already at training.”

While the former Kaizer Chiefs star is on trial at Swallows FC, a former Orlando Pirates winger is also looking to secure a deal at the club.

“Former Orlando Pirates winger Mark Mayambela has arrived in Johannesburg and is set to start training with Swallows FC.” a Kick-off report read.

“According to sources close to the Dube Birds, the former Bucs midfielder who was also linked with a move to Sekhukhune United was due to report for assessment (much like former Kaizer Chiefs star George Lebese) with the club this week before opening negotiations for a new contract.”
