Lorch not good enough for Mamelodi Sundowns – Club legend
Mamelodi Sundowns legend Charles Motlohi has launched a rather scathing attack on Orlando Pirates midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch.
The former Masandawana midfielder has issued a stern warning to the ‘2019/20 PSL Player of The Season’ Thembinkosi Lorch to stay away from his club.
According to Motlohi, the Orlando Pirates attacker is simply not good enough for Mamelodi Sundowns and should try his luck at Kaizer Chiefs instead.

‘Nyoso’, as the Buccaneers star is affectionately nicknamed as, has been linked with a move away from Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly in the race to sign the attacker.
Charles Motlohi however has urged the Brazilian to avoid signing Thembinkosi Lorch at all costs.
“No, I don’t think they need him. Thembinkosi Lorch and Oupa Manyisa play the same style of football,” Motlohi told Kick-Off regarding the Orlando Pirates attacker.
“He is good but not for Sundowns. I think a move to Kaizer Chiefs might suit him better because, honestly speaking, Chiefs don’t have players at the moment. Just imagine how many players are playing in his position at Sundowns in the current squad.
“The likes of Hlompho Kekana can’t even get game time. I trusted Kermit Erasmus to do well at Sundowns but he is forever injured. But as for Lorch, no, I don’t rate him that much to play for us.”
