Bacon Halloumi Skewers – Bacon & cheese perfection

As the days get warmer, we can feel the South African sun beating down on us. But this doesn’t mean that we hide from it. We celebrate it with friends and family. We invite everybody over, light a fire and bask in the summer heat around the braai. It’s a festival of food, and we’re always hungry. Try out our Bacon Halloumi Skewers as a pre-main course snack.

Halloumi cheese is a unique, semi-hard cheese. It has a high melting point, making it perfect for a braai. It also serves as a great pre-snack at the braai, getting rid of the worst hunger pains while you wait for the meat to cook. Also, who doesn’t love stuff wrapped in bacon, right? Anybody can agree that this is the mother of all combos. It’s literally cheese wrapped in crispy bacon. You couldn’t ask for anything better than these Bacon Halloumi Skewers.

Get fired up. It’s time for a braai!
