Kaizer Chiefs latest | Busy day for management, D-Day for 10 stars!
Kaizer Chiefs are expected to make a number of announcements TODAY, 30 June as the contracts of no less than 10 players expire.
The Amakhosi management will undoubtedly have a busy day in convincing the majority of those players to stay on short-term deals.

At least two players in Itumeleng Khune and Bernard Parker have contracts in place, according to media reports.
Khune is set to be offered a new one-year deal with an option to renew for a further year while one-month contract has been tabled for Parker.

Parker’s one-month extension is to allow him to be part of the CAF Champions League final against Al Ahly on 17 July.
But what about the other EIGHT players?

Bruce Bvuma, a star in Amakhosi’s three matches leading up to the second leg semi-final against Wydad Casablanca, has no contract in place.
Lebogang Manyama is another star whose contract is coming to an end alongside the likes of Willard Katsande and Ramahlwe Mphahlele.

The trio have had a huge role to play in Amakhosi reaching their first ever CAF Champions League final, and the club certainly needs their experience.
The same can be said about the injured Khama Billiat who returned from injury to score the all-important equalizer against Horoya AC in that 2-2 draw in the group stages.

Philani Zulu has also been one of the integral members of the current Chiefs squad in the CAF Champions League.
However, it is unclear what the Chiefs management will decide, especially after recent reports suggested that he could be offered to Swallows FC.

The other two players are defender Kgotso Moleko and goalkeeper Brylon Petersen.
Moleko has been used sparingly this season, and earlier in June, he appeared to be bidding farewell to Chiefs in a cryptic Instagram post.

Petersen is yet to make his offiicial debut for the Chiefs senior team, and it remains to be seen if the management will keep him for the future.
