Gauteng: Partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers.

UVB sunburn index: Moderate.

Mpumalanga: Fog patches on the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers.

Limpopo: Partly cloudy and warm but hot in the west, becoming cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.

North-West province: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the far east with isolated thundershowers.

Free State: Fine and warm but partly cloudy in the northeast with isolated thundershowers.

Northern Cape: Fine and warm to hot. The wind along the coast will be strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape: Partly cloudy along the south coast, otherwise sunny and cool to warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly to southerly but fresh to strong north of Cape Columbine.

UVB index: Extreme.

Western half of the Eastern Cape: Cloudy with isolated showers along the coast in the morning otherwise partly cloudy and cool. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south westerly.

Eastern half of the Eastern Cape: Partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain in places along the coast and adjacent interior. The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh south westerly.

KwaZulu-Natal: Cloudy and cool but warm in the north-east. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected. The wind along the coast will be Near Gale southerly to south-westerly in places at first, otherwise fresh to moderate southerly to south-westerly.
