Peter Shalulile, Themba Zwane and Thabiso Kutumela nominated for PSL Footballer of the Season
Mamelodi Sundowns duo Peter Shalulile and Themba Zwane join one of the hottest prospects in SA football, Thabisa Kutumela, as nominees for the 2020/21 DStv Premiership Footballer of the Season.
On Wednesday morning the DStv Premiership announced the nominees for their annual awards.
The trio were also nominated for the Players’ Player of the Season award.

The trio have been phenomenal for their respective sides this season.
PETER SHALULILE (MAMELODI SUNDOWNS)
Shalulile has scored 11 goals and assisted six in just 22 games in this year’s DStv Premiership.
The Namibian international has been an instrumental part of Mamelodi Sundowns’ success this season. He has proved to be a clinical finisher and potent attacker.
He is one of the best strikers in Africa and in the league.
THEMBA ZWANE (MAMELODI SUNDOWNS)
Zwane has racked up nine goals and an assist to bring his goal contribution to double figures (10) in 23 starts.
He is a leader in this side, inspiring players around him through his performances on the pitch. Zwane and Shalulile have been a dangerous and dynamic due for the Brazilians this season.
The duo thoroughly deserve their nominations with Sundowns poised to confirm a fourth successive title, potentially later today!

THABISO KUTUMELA (MARITZBURG UNITED)
Kutumela has 12 goals in 26 league starts. He has scored more goals than both his fellow nominees and was recently called up to the national side.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has acknowledged his form – and so have the DStv Premiership.
