  1. Yellow L2 warning for WINDS with possible impact such as difficulty in navigation, localised problem for high sided vehicles and possibility of transport route affected by winds between Cape columbine and Cape Agulhas as well as between Port St. Johns and Durban.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot but very hot in places. It will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon in the west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate northwesterly becoming light southerly in the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Cloudy in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain except in the extreme west.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, but strong to gale along the south, south-west coast from the afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western halfTemperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered rain and showers along the
coastal regions.

The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be strong south westerly at first, otherwise fresh south easterly, but strong along the Tsitsikamma from the late afternoon.

The Eastern halfTemperature: Cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers but scattered rain and showers along the
coastal regions.

The Eastern halfWind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south westerly, but strong at times, becoming moderate south easterly from
the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Fine and warm becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers along the coast and adjacent interior from the afternoon.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly becoming fresh to strong southwesterly from the south in the afternoon spreading northwards towards evening.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.
