The Zimbabwean frontman was laid low earlier this year with a broken bone in his leg but made a successful return to training last week.

He is now in contention for the CAF Champions League Group C clash with Wydad AC at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kaizer Chiefs are also bolstered by Leonardo Castro’s return to fitness as Amakhosi look to qualify for the knockout stage.

Gavin Hunt said in TimesLive: “Khama Billiat’s training again so he’ll certainly come into the reckoning, and Castro’s also fit again.

“So it’ll give us certainly a bit more. In the derby [Chiefs’ beat Orlando Pirates 1-0] we had a bit more on the bench, so it was difficult for us.

“But they are back now and it’ll make a big difference in the team. They’ll give us a little bit more.
