- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the northern and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, south-western parts of the North West, western parts of Free State, Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality and Joe Gqabi District Municipality of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the extreme north-east. It will be very hot over the Lowveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Morning fog patches over the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers, except in the Lowveld and north-east where it will be very hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the north-east by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly
Western Cape:
Temperature: Light rain in the south-east at first where it will be cool, otherwise partly cloudy and warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate southerly to south-easterly, freshening along the south coast in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and warm with isolated showers and rain in the south, but scattered along the coast where it will be cool.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly in the east early morning, otherwise fresh south-westerly, moderating at night.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Morning fog in places over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy, windy and warm but cloudy with isolated showers and rain south of the escarpment.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light westerly in the south early morning, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly, reaching strong in the afternoon.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm, becoming cloudy in the south in the afternoon. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected in the evening.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate north-easterly, becoming south-westerly in the south in the afternoon, spreading to Richards Bay in the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
