Jason Jenkins set to sign for Munster as Bulls lose out
Irish province Munster are set to sign Springbok lock Jason Jenkins ahead of next season.

The 25-year-old has one Springbok cap to his name having played against Wales in 2018 in what was Rassie Erasmus’ first match as coach.
Jason Jenkins is currently playing at Toyota Verblitz in Japan having previously represented the Bulls in more than 50 Super Rugby matches.

Bulls boss Jake White had expressed a desire to re-sign Jenkins after the Japanese Top League season, but The42 understands that Munster are now set to complete a deal to bring him to Ireland.
Jenkins has played the majority of his rugby in the second row, but does also have some experience at flank.

Jenkins previously played alongside another Munster lock RG Snyman at the Bulls, while he has another fellow Springbok at Munster in centre Damian de Allende.
Munster are coached by South African Johann van Graan.
