Kaizer Chiefs vs Orlando Pirates: Bernard Parker DUMPED by fans!
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates square-off in the eagerly anticipated Carling Black Label Cup on Sunday, 01 August 2021 at the Orlando Stadium.
The pre-season match between arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates was originally supposed to take place a day earlier at the FNB Stadium however due to the British and Irish Lions rugby tour, the Orlando Stadium will get to host its first Carling Black Label Cup.
The beauty of the Carling Black Label Cup is that fans get to choose their starting lineups for the Soweto derby via a virtual voting process.

The Amakhosi fans have opted to field Itumeleng Khune in goal while Eric Mathoho and Daniel Cardoso find themselves in central defence alongside wing backs Reeve Frosler and Happy Mashiane.
Kaizer Chiefs’ fans have opted for a midfield four in Njabulo Blom, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Lebogang Manyama and Dumisani Zuma while Samir Nurkovic and Khama Billiat have been selected up top.
Richard Ofori is the preferred Orlando Pirates goalkeeper while Happy Jele, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Innocent Maela and Wayde Jooste find themselves in defence.
The Buccaneers faithful believe Ben Motshwari and Fortune Makaringe will provide them with enough fire power in the middle of the park against the CAF Champions League Semifinalists Kaizer Chiefs.
Thembinkosi Lorch and Vincent Pule will be deployed as wingers while Gabadinho Mhango and Zakhele Lepasa find themselves up top.

Orlando Pirates have dominated the spectacular event since its inception achieving five victories in 2011‚ 2012‚ 2014‚ 2015 and 2019. Kaizer Chiefs on the other hand have recorded just three in 2013‚ 2016 and 2017.
