Kaizer Chiefs arrive in Burkina Faso for CAF Champions League tie – pictures

Kaizer Chiefs have arrived in Burkina Faso ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca on Sunday.

Amakhosi flew out of Johannesburg on a special chartered flight on Friday headed for Burkina Faso’s capital Ouagadougou for their second CAF Champions League match this season.

The clash was originally meant to have taken place on 13 February in Casablanca, but will now be played on neutral territory at the 4 August Stadium on Sunday, 28 February.

Kick-off is at 18:00 SA time.

Kaizer Chiefs began their 2020/21 CAF Champions League group stages with a goalless draw against Guinean side Horoya AC.

Meanwhile, Wydad started off their group campaign on the road with a 1-0 win during the week against Petro de Luanda of Angola.

Kaizer Chiefs will be back in Johannesburg on Monday to prepare for the next CAF Champions League game against Petro de Luanda on Saturday, 6 March at the FNB Stadium.

Kick-off for that match will also be 18:00.
