George Old Car Show 2020

The George Old Car Show is organised by the Southern Cape Old Car Club and takes place in February every year.

Here attendees are granted the opportunity to explore the exhibit of a wide selection of veteran, vintage and classic cars, new car models in the market, vintage tractors, motorcycles, stationary engines, modified cars and street rods wide selection of arts and crafts stalls, and much more. This year, Michael Lindt and Onbekend will also be performing.

There will also be a special exhibition of Bakkies. Two ‘must-see’ entrants at the Bakkie display will be the Task Force 1957 GMC 100 Half Ton and the Ford Ranchero.

The Scocc was formed by a group of enthusiasts who are passionate about the continued preservation of the South African transport industry and its history, with special focus on historical vintage and veteran motor vehicles, motorcycles and motorized farming equipment dating back to yesteryear.

More about the Scocc

The Scocc was established on in June 1988 in George, located in the heart of the Southern Cape Garden Route, where their members continue to have the privilege of enjoying both the best of what nature has to offer as well as our old motor vehicles.

In addition to the Old Car Show, the Scocc also arranges and hosts a number of additional events attended by motor vehicle enthusiasts. These events include but are not limited to; races, time trials, short and longer excursions, social gatherings as well as events that deal for example with technical talks where professionals and experts will share their knowledge and experiences with attending members, and members with each other.
