IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
1.Yellow Level 2 Warning for Severe Thunderstorms that may result in heavy downpours and large amounts of small hail, leading to flash flooding of roads/bridges, low-lying areas and settlements, also causing difficulty in driving due to reduced visibility, expected in paces over the western and southern interior of the N-Cape, the northern interior of the W-Cape spreading to the Overberg Districts in the south-west from the late afternoon, the southern parts of the Free State, as well as the northern parts of the E-Cape, as well as over the south-western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers over the eastern parts.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers except in the north-east..
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm to hot.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm, with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Cool in the extreme east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in the north-east, with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable becoming moderate northerly to north-westerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated thundershowers over the central and eastern parts.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly to easterly east of Mossel Bay at first, otherwise moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly reaching strong between Table Bay and Cape Agulhas.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half –Partly cloudy and warm to hot, with isolated showers in the north at first, but scattered showers and thundershowers over the central and western parts in the afternoon.
The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly but light to moderate north-easterly at times in the morning.
The Eastern half – Partly cloudy and warm to cool with scattered showers and thundershowers but isolated along the coast. Heavy downpours are expected in places over the interior.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable in the south at first, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, except over the extreme north-eastern part.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable north of Cape St Lucia in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh northerly to fresh north-easterly.
