Temperature and UBV forecast

Gauteng:

Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot in places of the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the morning with drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm to hot.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Partly cloudy in the south in the morning, otherwise fine and warm but cool along the coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly but strong in the afternoon.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, becoming cloudy along the south coast in the evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-westerly but light westerly to north-westerly along the south coastat first and in the evening.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Morning fog patches, otherwise fine and warm, becoming partly cloudy in the evening.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be Light and variable at first, becoming moderate to fresh westerly to southwesterly.

The Eastern half Temperature: Morning fog patches and cloudy south of the escarpment at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm, becoming partly cloudy in the evening.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate to fresh northeasterly, becoming southwesterly by the evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Partly cloudy at first with morning fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm

Wind: The wind along the coast will be Moderate southerly to south-easterly but north-easterly in the south, spreading to the north by afternoon and freshening in places at times.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
