Ronaldo was once again the hero as he helped Portugal thrash Luxembourg 5-0 in their Group A 2022 Soccer World Cup qualifier in Faro on Tuesday.
Portugal raced into an early two-goal lead thanks to penalties from Ronaldo in the eighth and 13th minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United team-mate Bruno Fernandes scored the third in the 18th minute before Joao Palhinha made it four after 69 minutes.
Ronaldo duly had the final say when completed his hat-trick in the 87th minute.
Thanks to that third goal, Ronaldo now holds the record for most international hat-tricks (10) in world football.
The match also saw Cristiano Ronaldo extend his existing record of most-capped international for a European nation to 182 matches.
