‘I was mortified’: Boity Thulo on Cassper rapping about cheating on her

On the latest episode of Drink or Tell the Truth with Lasizwe Dambuza on Friday 17 September, media personality Boity Thulo opened up about how “mortified” she was when rapper Cassper Nyovest confessed to cheating on her via a song.

CASSPER CONFESSES TO CHEATING ON BOITY

Cassper Nyovest and Boity Thulo were in a relationship back in 2015 and dated for a year before calling it quits in 2016. At the time the pair blamed their break up on “time management” being the issue.

However, Cassper Nyovest confessed to cheating on Boity in his song I Wasn’t Ready For You. Although the rapper did not mention any names, the song was released in 2017 and he begins by saying “It’s been a year since we broke up/ And half of it I wasn’t sober,” which was most likely in reference to Boity. The pair had a highly publicised relationship at the time.

“Too many celebrity b****** were hanging on my scrotum/ And that shit went to my head/ I should have kissed you instead/I started giving the side b****** your side of the bed,” rapped Nyovest.

“You told this woman you loved her and promised her joy/ She just needed a man, you behaved like a boy/ Manipulated her mind, baby I got you confused/ It’s high time I admit, I wasn’t ready for you,” he continued.

‘I WAS MORTIFIED’ SAYS BOITY

On the latest episode of Drink or Tell the Truth with Lasizwe, Boity opened up about how she felt when she heard Cassper Nyovest rapping about cheating on her on his song.

“So Cassper, mentioned you in a song, that he cheated on you. How did that really make you feel when that song came out?,” asked Lasizwe Dambuza.

“What is wrong with you?,” replied Boity.

The media personality said that she was embarrassed and mortified because that was not something she wanted people knowing.

“It’s been so long. I mean obviously I’m a human being and I didn’t find out through the song, I just didn’t know he was going to put it in the song. So I was embarrassed, mortified, no one wants people knowing,” said Boity.

“Yeah I know he didn’t mention names obviously it’s like you could pick up that it is so they hurt me,” she continued.

When asked if she is dating actor Anton Jeftha she hesitantly denied. She went on to say she is “forever single.” However, the “Twitter Police” recently spotted the pair on “baecation” together.
