Dungeons and Dragons: D&D Live 2020 will have celebrity cast

Along with the announcement came some details that you need to know. D&D Live 2020: Roll W/Advantage will feature big personalities playing elves, wizards and fighters to accomplish quests using their imaginations.

The event will work towards raising funds for Red Nose Day in an effort to help children in the US and around the world who have been negatively affected by the outbreak of the pandemic.

D&D Live 2020: W/Advantage will run from18 June to 20 June, and will feature a host of celebrities to help boost fund-raising.

The four main games at D&D Live 2020

  • One game will just focus on the celebrities playing the game.
  • Another will focus on famous actors playing the fool.
  • Another will focus on celebrities playing D&D for the first time.
  • The fourth will be focused on professional wrestlers playing D&D.

The most entertaining show is said to be on 20 June at 10:00 PST as actors David Harbour and Brandon Routh, among others, will play their first ever D&D and no doubt a fair amount of hilarity will ensue.

The celebrities who will be involved

  • Brian Posehn, Kevin Sussman, and Thomas Middleditch.
  • Some WWE superstars will include: Xavier Woods, Tyler Breeze, Ember Moon, Alexa Bliss, and Dio Maddin and Jeremy Crawford.
  • Some famous actors will include: Deborah Ann Woll, Amy Acker, Janina Gavankar, Matthew Lillard and Sam Richardson.
  • Some Actors new to D&D will be led by principal writer Chris Perkins and will be as follows: Felicia Day, Brett Gelman, David Harbour, Brandon Routh, Matreyi Ramakrishnan and Martin Starr.

As well as all this frivolity, D&D will also be bringing out their next adventure book called Mythic Odysseys Of Theros, which is reportedly being released in July of this year.

They are also selling commemorative T-shirts to remember this historic partnership between D&D and Red Nose Day and these are available right now.
