  1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central parts of the Northern Cape, the north-eastern parts of the Western Cape and the western interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Morning fog patches on the southern highveld , otherwise fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with morning drizzle and fog patches on the highveld and along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cold to cool but warm in the Lowveld. It will be fine in the west.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Cloudy in the east at first with morning drizzle and fog patches along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

Free State:

Temperature: Morning fog in the north-east, otherwise fine and cool.

Northern Cape:

East temperature: Fine and cool to warm.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog patches along the south coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming fine.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly to south-westerly along the south coast, otherwise moderate southerly to south-easterly.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Morning fog patches south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but cool in places.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly becoming westerly in the west by mid-morning, spreading to Algoa Bay by the evening.

The Eastern half Temperature: Morning fog patches in places south of the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but cool in places.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly becoming strong north of Kei Mouth in the afternoon.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Morning fog patches over the interior and isolated light showers along the north coast, otherwise fine and cool but partly cloudy in the northeast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly
