While the former Orlando Pirates star narrowly missed out on turning the match on its head, French talisman Kylian Mbappe had other ideas to make sure Lionel Messi’s debut at the club went according to plan.
Mbappe ended any chance of an upset by grabbing his second on the night in the 63rd minute. Despite Mbappe scoring a brace, the center of attention was one Lionel Messi who made his debut for the French giants after a blockbuster summer move from Barcelona.
Lionel Messi was brought on by Mauricio Pochettino in the 66th minute. He replaced former Barcelona teammate Neymar Jnr to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut.
