Babina Noko will play in the DStv Premiership this season following their promotion from the GladAfrica Championship.
The club purchased the First Division status from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) in 2020 and gained promotion to the DStv Premiership in their first attempt.

Tembisa is situated to the north of Kempton Park on Gauteng’s East Rand.

Mapinga told FARPost: “As you can see, we are not shying away from being in Sekhukhune simply because we are forever in consultation with the management and leadership of first, secondly of Limpopo to find ways that they can accommodate this club.
“At this point in time you can understand that there are no grounds in Sekhukhune and if you go to Peter Mokaba Stadium, you have four teams between the two grounds. So, it becomes a challenge to find a stadium that is PSL standard within our region.
“So, there is a solution, we are trying to find our solution to ensure that we come back here and play. So, the season coming, like with the Chippa United game, we will be playing at Makhulong and there would be a couple of amendments throughout the season where we will bring some games to the new Peter Mokaba Stadium.”
Sekhukhune United will kick off their DStv Premiership season at home against Gavin Hunt’s Chippa United on Saturday, 21 August at 15:00.
