Burnt body of a teenage girl found in Roxeni forest, Eastern Cape
Police are looking for the next of kin of murdered teenager.
The burnt body of a girl suspected to be between the ages of 13 and 15-years-old was found. Due to the severity of her condition, it was difficult to identify her.
THE BODY OF GIRL WAS FOUND IN A FOREST
According to police spokesperson Captain Siphokazi Mawisa the body of the girl was found in the Roxeni forest on Tuesday, 03 August 2021.
“Detectives are seeking the next of kin of a teenager whose body was found in Roxeni forest on Tuesday, 03 August 2021.
“The body of a girl suspected to be between the ages of 13 and 15-years-old was found burnt. Due to the severity of her condition, it was difficult to identify her.”

Meanwhile, police are investigating a murder after a mother of Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape shot and killed her son on Wednesday afternoon.
THE SON AND HIS SISTER HAD A FIGHT JUST BEFORE THE SHOOTING
Police spokesperson Captain Nkosikho Mzuku said a 45-year-old mother fatally shot her son in Slovo Park informal Settlement, NU 6, Mdantsane on Wednesday at about 13:30.
“It is alleged that the 24-year-old son argued with his sister after she accused him of stealing her cellphone.
Mzuku said the siblings fought, and the son assaulted his sister with a wheel spanner.
The mother took her boyfriend’s firearm and fatally shot her son.

“Police are investigating murder and possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.”
Mzuku said the circumstances surrounding the incident forms part of the investigation.
The mother is due to appear in the Mdantsane Magistrate’s Court on charges of murder and possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
