Axed Kaizer Chiefs star returns to CAFCL football after joining AmaZulu
Former Kaizer Chiefs utility player Philani Zulu will again get a taste of CAF Champions League football having joined AmaZulu.

According to Daily Sun, Zulu is among the new players that are expected to be unveiled by AmaZulu later this week.
Zulu was released by Chiefs last week following the expiry of his ‘extended’ contract which made him eligible to feature in the CAF Champions League final against Al Ahly.

Details of the 28-year-old’s contract with AmaZulu are still unknown but the club is expected to make them public when announcing the player.
Zulu isn’t the first signing for the ambitious Durban-based side ahead of next season with Keagan Buchanan and Mxolisi Kunene have already been signed.

Former Cape Town City midfield anchor Roland Putsche is also reported to be present at the AmaZulu training grounds, and could also be unveiled soon.
Putsche worked with Benni McCarthy at Cape Town City, and the two would be reuniting at AmaZulu.
