Letoya Makhene exposed for not settling a R12k debt owed to a Bolt driver
Singer and actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo and her wife Lebo Makhene-Pulumo are reportedly wanted by Bolt drivers as they owe one of them a hefty amount.
According to a Daily Sun report, a fleet of Bolt cars was spotted at the actress’s home yesterday demanding what’s due.
A Facebook user called Urife Muntswu exposed the actress and her wife by posting videos of the drivers at their home.
Muntswu also revealed screenshots of conversations between a Bolt driver named Maluleleke Sekati and Lebo.
According to Maluleke the actress and her wife owe him twelve thousand rands.
The actress’s wife told Daily Sun that Latoya is shooting a movie currently and wasn’t available to comment.
She also stated:
This thing is very sensitive because it involves our kids, our 20-year-old son. He is in distress now because of this matter.
ANOTHER UNSETTLED BILL
This is not the first time the duo is in the headlines for unsettling a bill.
The Generations: The Legacy actress and her wife were furious in March when a source claimed they are broke and left a two thousand rand bill at a restaurant in Fourways.
Lebo refuted claims that they never settled the bill and told TshisaLive that a stalker is spreading fake news about them.
They also told City Press that they’ve settled the bill.
My wife and I wine and dine about three times a week. Now explain to me how we can be broke if we can afford to go out so much?
We can send you our bank balance and it is quite healthy.
An agitated Lebo confirmed they went out for dinner to Fireroom Sushi Restaurant in the north of Johannesburg.
She said their bill came to one thousand three hundred and fifty rands.
They ended up paying one thousand six hundred rands including a tip.
We are so perplexed by all of this. Even the owner of the restaurant is angry and has offered to release a statement clearing our names. He has even gone to the extent of offering us a night out on them.
