Kaizer Chiefs star generating large European interest in the PSL!

Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic has taken the Premier Soccer League (PSL) by storm since arriving at the club in 2019.

Nurkovic arrived in South Africa from Slovakian side KFC Komárno as a complete unknown however two years later, the Kaizer Chiefs attacker has become a household name in the country.

While the Serbian striker continues to make headlines here, his following back home is on the rise and many European fans have since taken a keen interest in the PSL!

Europe closely following the PSL to keep up with Kaizer Chiefs star!

MozzartSport, a large Serbian publication, has been consistently reporting on the happenings of Kaizer Chiefs attacker Samir Nurkovic in the PSL.

“The finalists of this year’s edition of the African Champions League will be known tonight, when the rematch matches of the semifinals will be played. Kaizer Chiefs defends 1: 0 against Wydad Casablanca (18.00), and the current champion Al Ahly welcomes Esperance Tunis (21.00) with the same advantage in Cairo.” MozzartSport reported before Kaizer Chiefs secured a spot in the final of the CAF Champions League.

Nurkovic opens up about life in the PSL to Serbian fans

“July will be exactly two years since I came to South Africa. There are a lot of talented players here. My opinion is that the biggest difference is in football schools. If they had schools and academies like us in Europe, they would have many more players. who would play at the highest level ” Nurkovic told MozzartSport last month regarding his time at Kaizer Chiefs.

“Honestly, I miss my family the most from Europe. The first season was phenomenal, playing the Soweto derby in front of 90,000 fans and celebrating a goal in front of crowded stands. Then I fulfilled my dream, the feeling is absolutely incredible.”

The Serbian star already has 20 goals and 10 further assists in just 62 games for Kaizer Chiefs. The attacker has been linked with a move away from Naturena however the Amakhosi will be desperate to hold on to him given his quality.
