The second round TKO win was enough to see Dricus du Plessis rewarded with a Performance of the Night bonus.
As confirmed at the post-event press conference, the bonus will pay out $75 000 (R1.06 millon).
UFC boss Dana White will have hopefully taken note of Du Plessis’ performance and it wont be long before we see the 27-year-old Pretoria-born star fighter back in the octagon.
The win was Dricus du Plessis’ fourth straight at UFC level.
