  1. Extremely high fire danger is expected in the central and southern parts of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:

Temperature: Fine and cool.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very high.

Mpumalanga:

Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo:

Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

North-West Province:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Free State:

Temperature: Fine and warm.

Northern Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coast where it will be cloudy spreading to the southern high ground becoming partly cloudy to fine and cool to warm. Isolated showers can be expected over the south-western parts from late evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly becoming southerly to southeasterly in the evening.

Western Cape:

Temperature: Morning fog along the coastal areas and adjacent interior, otherwise fine and cool becoming cloudy to partly cloudy in the evening. Isolated showers can be expected over the northern parts of the West Coast District from late evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be light southerly to south-easterly but moderate to fresh between Cape Point and Cape Agulhas.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Eastern Cape:

The Western half Temperature: Partly cloudy in the morning, otherwise fine and cool.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly , becoming south-easterly in the evening.

The Eastern half Temperature: Fine and cool, but partly cloudy at times.

The Eastern half Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh south-westerly, becoming light and variable by evening.

Kwazulu-Natal:

Temperature: Fine and cool, but warm in places in the east. It will become partly cloudy from the east from late morning.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be gentle north-westerly north of Richard’s bay at first, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, becoming gentle in the late afternoon.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Moderate.
