SABC secures rights to broadcast Kaizer Chiefs v Wydad match!
The SABC Sport has secured the rights to broadcast the CAF Champions League semi-final clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Wydad Casablanca.

However, the public broadcaster could only secure the rights for the second leg which is scheduled for 26 June, and NOT the first leg in Casablanca.
Two months ago, the SABC reported to have secured the rights to show ALL CAF inter-club home matches for South African teams taking part in the competitions.

Interestingly, the return leg at the FNB Stadium will be broadcast on SABC 1, meaning every South African football fan will get to watch the match live.
The historic encounter will also be available on OpenView channel 124, and all SABC radio stations among other public broadcaster’s platforms.

Chiefs need a big result in Casablanca to at least stand a chance of advancing to the CAF Champions League final.

The last time Chiefs visited Wydad, they were hammered 4-0 by the Moroccan giants, and they will want to avoid a repeat of that this time around.
Kick-off for Saturday’s clash at Stade Mohammed V is at 21:00.
