Raspberry-infused Gin Cocktail – Celebrate the flavour of berries
Have you thought about making something special for dad this Father’s Day? How about making him a Raspberry-infused Gin Cocktail. Our gin cocktail is easy-to-make and taste delicious when celebrating dad this year.
This recipe uses Pimville Gin. One of Pimville Gin’s main fruit extracts comes from the Baobab tree found in the miombo woodlands of southern Africa and the Mpumalanga midlands. Baobab is one of the most nutrient-dense fruits around. It’s often ground to a powder and used as a super fruit ingredient in smoothies. Its mango/lemonade-like flavour makes for a great taste filler. As fruit extract in gin, its best companion is raspberries. Although the berry season seems far away, in September, luckily we can rely on frozen berries to make a berry infused cocktail for a beverage perfect for winter.
Making the infused gin is easy and takes about a week, after which it will be ready do use. Then, you can divide your infused gin into smaller bottles and keep them for up to a year. It’s a great gift for Father’s Day. The Raspberry-infused Gin cocktail is a basic G&T with your choice of tonic water and some extra frozen raspberries for garnish, flavour and a tiny snack.
Celebrate with dad and the Raspberry-infused Gin cocktail this Father’s Day.
