Kaizer Chiefs latest | Swallows DENY one of their stars was at Naturena
Swallows FC have vehemently denied that one of their star players was at the Kaizer Chiefs Village in Naturena on Tuesday.
Sifiso Hlanti, Kgaogela Sekgota and Njabulo Ngcobo who all belong to Swallows, at least for now, were reported to have checked in at the Amakhosi headquarters.

However, Swallows chairman David Mogashoa has come out guns blazing to shoot down the report that Ngcobo was at Naturena.
Furthermore, Mogashoa said Swallows have NOT given Chiefs permission to open talks with Ngcobo, let alone give him a pre-season training programme as it has been reported.

“I can confirm that Swallows has NOT given Kaizer Chiefs permission to talk to the player. Let alone give him a program. It will be very unfortunate if that indeed happened,” said Mogoshoa in a tweet.
Mogashoa maintained that Ngcobo, who was named PSL’s Defender of the Season for the 2020-21 campaign, still has a year left on his current deal with Swallows.

Nonetheless, Transfermarkt claims that Ngcobo’s contract with Swallows ends on 30 June 2021.
Mogashoa’s denial of Ngcobo’s possible move to Chiefs has certainly thrown a spanner in the works, and could prompt Mamelodi Sundowns to up heir game in pursuit of the defender’s services.
