Ncikazi enjoyed an exceptional season in charge of Golden Arrows as he guided them to a fourth-placed finish while briefly flirting with an even higher finish.

The Abafana Besithende boss wants to build on  the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season, but fears losing too many key players will hinder the club’s upward trajectory.

Ncikazi said according to Soccer Laduma that: “One my wish is not losing too many players, I wish them to grow here and if they we end up losing them because this is a business, let’s replace them in time because next season will be very tough.”

He added: “We were seen as a small team but towards the end of the season, the approach changed when clubs were facing us, even big teams were starting to park a bus against Arrows and now we need to change our mindset, add more players to have big squad to avoid unnecessary pressure.

“Another challenge will be maintaining success because it easy to be on top but remaining there it hard, I’m inspired by our players because they discipline so I think we will manage, we hope new players will adapt quick and easily.”
