EXCLUSIVE | Orlando Pirates can win CAF Confed Cup – Roger de Sa
Former Orlando Pirates coach Roger de Sa doesn’t see any team stopping Josef Zinnbauer’s men from winning the CAF Confederation Cup title.
Pirates booked their place in the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup despite going 1-0 down to Enyimba on Wednesday.

The Buccaneers finished second on the Group A log with nine points while Enyimba took the top spot with the same number of points but enjoyed a superior goal difference.
According to De Sa, Pirates’ ambition in CAF inter-club competitions is all they need to keep them motivated going forward.
“Yeah, I think they have become a team with a lot more ambition in Africa,” De Sa told TheSouthAfrican.com.

“I think every club wants to win every competition they play in. So, they have come this far and I expect them to try and go all the way.
“I am sure they will be focused and do their best,” he said.
De Sa feels Pirates can bank on their pedigree to topple any opponent that comes their way in the knockout stages.

He also expects the Sea Robbers to do all they possibly can to add to their MTN8 title won last year, adding that this could be the last trophy they can win.
“This is probably the last tournament that they can win. So, I am sure they’ve got the pedigree; they will need it [in the knockout stages]. I am sure they will give it a full go,” added De Sa.
