Mamelodi Sundowns won’t be in action in midweek as they prepare for their next CAF Champions League clash against TP Mazembe.

Third-placed Swallows FC will be in action on Tuesday when they travel to the Mbombela Stadium to play ninth-placed TS Galaxy.

Kick-off is at 17:00.

Swallows FC may be in third place in the standings, but they have played two fewer matches than second-place SuperSport United and are only three points behind Matsatsantsa.

Last season, a TS Galaxy v Swallows FC clash would’ve taken place in the GladAfrica Championship, but both teams now find themselves in the top-flight.

Swallows FC are still unbeaten in the DStv Premiership (one of only two teams along with Mamelodi Sundowns).

However, since the start of 2021 they have become something of draw specialists with nine stalemates and seven victories in the league to date.

Meanwhile, TS Galaxy’s fortunes have taken a turn for the better since the appointment of Owen da Gama as coach and are unbeaten in their last six matches (three wins, three draws).

Last season, both sides won 2-1 away from home, while their DStv Premiership clash earlier this campaign ended in a goalless draw.
