All the rugby on TV this weekend – 5-7 March 2021
There is no Preparation Series rugby on TV this weekend, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a full weekend of action from abroad.
No action in South Africa this weekend
The Preparation Series will operate on a ten day cycle, meaning there will be midweek rugby next week.
Also on a break will be the Six Nations, with the fourth of five rounds scheduled to take place next weekend. It is unclear when or if the postponed match between Scotland and France will be held.
The weekend of rugby starts early on Friday with Super Rugby Aotearoa heading into round two with the Chiefs hosting the Highlanders in a match that kicks off at 08:00. Super Rugby AU then takes over as the Waratahs face the Force in Sydney from 10:40. There is also rugby on tv from the northern hemisphere in the form of English Premiership and Pro14 contests.
Aotearoa has no fixtures on Saturday, leaving Super Rugby AU to kick off the day with the Brumbies tussle against the Rebels at 10:40. The afternoon is dominated by Pro14 and Premiership action.
Your weekend of rugby on TV wraps up on Sunday with a mouthwatering fixture in Super Rugby Aotearoa as the Crusaders face the Hurricanes. Once again the afternoon featured a pair of Premiership encounters and the Pro14 match between Scottish outfit Edinburgh and Italian side Benetton.
