All load shedding schedules for Gauteng, Cape Town, Durban on 15 March
There truly is no worse way to start the week: Load shedding remains in place on Monday 15 March – as more catastrophic failures behind the scenes at Eskom will plunge most parts of South Africa into darkness over the next 48 hours or so. For those in the big cities, we’ve got the updated local schedules for Gauteng, Cape Town, and Durban here.

LOAD SHEDDING SCHEDULE FOR JOHANNESBURG

- – This will give a direct update on when load shedding is expected for you and your regional community.
- – You can also get a weekly on monthly overview by using this calendar. It’s proper handy, we must admit.

LOAD SHEDDING SCHEDULE FOR PRETORIA / TSHWANE
- – Both cities in Gauteng have similar systems…
- – Find your load shedding group by consulting this list. It’s an easy way to prepare for power cuts.
- – You can view this schedule to tell you exactly when your suburb will get load shedding, on each day of the month.
- – Alternatively, if you’re aware of what numbered group you are in, you can get your updates from the City of Tshwane’s Twitter.
16:00 to 18:30: Group 4 and 8

LOAD SHEDDING SCHEDULE FOR CAPE TOWN:
- – Find what ‘block’ you live in, by using this map.
- – Once you’ve identified which block you’re in, consult the table which features below.
- – Find the correct date, scroll down, and identify which time period your block appears in.
- – Remember, Stage 1 will be in place for the Mother City for 14 hours on Monday.
- – Although Stage 2 is in place until 6:00 on Monday, this eases to Stage 1 until 22:00 (this cycle will continue until Wednesday)

Eskom has announced load-shedding is to continue until Wednesday 17 March 2021.
