Severe Weather Alerts
IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:
- Yellow Level 2 warning for disruptive rainfall resulting in localized flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements and major roads will be affect increased travel time can be expected over the extreme north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the western parts of the North West as well as the central parts of the Free State.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
Extremely high fire danger conditions is expected over the interior
of the Northern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the extreme south western parts.

Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Parlty cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers over the south western highveld.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the north in the morning.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread in the west.
Free State:
Temperature: Cloudy at first, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with scattered showers and thundershowers, but widespread over the central parts.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east, but scattered in the extreme north east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy along the south coast, where it will be cool, otherwise fine and warm.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Warm along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers in the north east.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south-westerly.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Partly cloudy and warm with scattered showers and thundershowers.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be light and variable in places at first, otherwise moderate to fresh south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the north, otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers, except in the north-east.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong in the north from the afternoon.
