FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:
- Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the eastern interior of the Northern Cape, the western part of the Free State, and the northern interior of the Eastern Cape.

Gauteng:
Temperature: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Mpumalanga:
Temperature: Morning fog along the escarpment, otherwise fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon but cloudy in the Lowveld and along the escarpment in the evening with light rain.
Limpopo:
Temperature: Partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers in the north and east from the afternoon. It will become cloudy along the escarpment and in the Lowveld in the evening.
North-West Province:
Temperature: Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thundershowers, except in the east.
Free State:
Temperature: Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon.
Northern Cape:
Temperature: Partly cloudy in the western interior at first, otherwise fine and cool to warm but hot in the east. It will become partly cloudy in the north-east in
the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to southerly-easterly, reaching fresh by the afternoon.
Western Cape:
Temperature: Cloudy to partly cloudy and cool becoming fine in places over the interior where it will be warm. Rain can be expected over the south-western parts in the morning, spreading to the east along the south coast by the afternoon.
Wind: The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly reaching fresh to strong south of Cape Point by late morning, becoming moderate to fresh by the afternoon, but strong in places north of Betty’s Bay towards the evening.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Extreme.
Eastern Cape:
The Western half – Temperature: Cloudy and cool, becoming partly cloudy in the northern and western interior. Light rain can be expected in places along the coast.
The Western Half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly, moderating by the late evening.
The Eastern half – Temperature: Fine and warm in the extreme north, otherwise patly cloudy to cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the coast and the adjacent interior.
The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.
Kwazulu-Natal:
Temperature: Hot in places in the north and west, otherwise partly cloudy to cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and rain, except in the extreme north-east.
Wind: Wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly.
The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Very High.
