Mamelodi Sundowns have Covid tests: Picture … if you’re not squeamish!
Mamelodi Sundowns arrived in Dar es Salaam on Friday afternoon after departing Johannesburg earlier that morning and wasted no time in having their Covid-19 tests.

Mamelodi Sundowns are in Tanzania for their CAF Champions League group stage clash against CR Belouizdad on Sunday.
The match will take place on Sunday, 28 February at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
Kick-off is at 15:00 SA time.

After their arrival, the team checked into their hotel before immediately conducting their mandatory Covid tests as per CAF requirements.
They then had lunch, relaxed and got down to training.

Anyone who has had the nasal Covid-19 test will be well aware it’s not a pleasant experience.
For footballers, especially those travelling into Africa, it’s a requirement that’s needed to be adhered to both before departure, upon arrival and then then a similar story on the trip home.

Following their match against CR Belouizdad, Mamelodi Sundowns will next be in action in another away CAF Champions League fixture TP Mazembe in the Congo on Saturday, 6 March at 15:00 SA time.
