Midway (Historical Drama)

What started out as a passion project for director Roland Emmerich turned into one of the most expensive independent films made to date. Midway is a war film that revisits the Battle of Midway between The United States Navy and Imperial Japanese Navy, which took place six months after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor.  On 4 June 1942, the battle commenced, and this movie adaptation follows the three days thereafter which saw US fighter pilots engage in one of the most important battles of the Second World War. Woody Harrelson, Patrick Wilson, Nick Jonas and Luke Evans star in this based-on-real-events WWII drama.
